As 2012 dawns in Victoria with a day that might optimistically be described as mostly sunny there is a distinct feeling of anticipation in the air for the Buoys as we look forward to our fourth season in the PDL.
After the high of reaching the playoffs for the first time in club history in 2011, everyone expects no less in 2012. The new playoff format recently announced will ensure a more exciting finish in our division and maybe this year the lads will make it out of the conference to take on some of that Eastern arrogance.
Our new tifo coordinator has some fantastic ideas to rally the troops in 2012 so make sure to stay tuned for how you can help as we prepare to make the Cook End an even more fun place to be when you're at RAP.
Season ticket sales stand at 223 this morning and we are still more than four months from kick-off in a town known for last-minute, walk-up sales. The ambitious goal for season tickets Alex set may actually be possible and the excitement around community ownership is growing every day. The LSB wish VISTA every success as they strive to build a vibrant and democratic supporters trust.
All in all, 2012 is looking to be the best year yet.
